Nothing high-speed about this post, that is unless music gets your motor runnin’. This weekend thousands upon thousands of music fans will invade Bristol Motor Speedway’s hometown for the 8th Annual Rhythm & Roots Reunion. Just as it does for Food City Family Race Night, Bristol’s Downtown State Street will play host it literally hundreds of performances by some of the most talented musicians and songwriters from across the nation and beyond. Both outdoor and indoor venues offer up 20 different stages with full performance schedules.
The three day event features some of the best acts in bluegrass, Americana, jamgrass, traditional country, Celtic, Old-time, singer/songwriter, Piedmont Blues and much more. The Rhythm & Roots Reunion truly delivers on its promise to satisfy an array of musical cravings with the diversity of genres from which to choose.
