Bristol Motor Speedway, known to the racing community as “The World’s Fastest Half-Mile,” is a .533-mile high-banked concrete oval located in Bristol, Tennessee. The venue opened in 1961, with a seating capacity of nearly 18,000.
Today the motorsports facility hosts two NASCAR event weekends each year and boasts a seating capacity of 160,000 — easily making it one of the largest sports venues world wide.
